Garage personnel were courteous at all times 

Just thought I would relay my experience of using the above named garage for a recent ‘Annual Service’ on my car. 
 
To remind you this garage offers charities (their staff and volunteers) a 50% reduction on labour charges and 10% off parts and will do MOT’s for £27.00 
 
So, I’ve just had an Annual Service, including oil change, oil filter, oil flush, sump washer replacement, 29 point check and advisory notes on future work that may be required and the all important stamp in the service record book………….. All for under £100! 
 
The garage personnel were courteous at all times and I have to say that I am very happy with the experience. Whilst this is not a personal or charity recommendation to use Auditechnik, I thought it worthwhile letting you know. 
 
 

Technicians are clearly knowledgeable 

Since this time, Auditechnik have serviced both of our cars – with: 
 
a really helpful and friendly receptionist (called Merryl) 
the provision of a courtesy car, free of charge, for the day 
technicians that are clearly knowledgable (and helpful when you have a question) 
a reasonably priced charge – properly explained 
a range of discount vouchers usable against future required work 
 
In addition, one of the cars (a Rover) seemed to have had a reduction in power develop over time. The reduction was so gradual though that it had become quite significant, with a noticeably sluggish performance, by the time we were certain there was a fault. Auditechnik took a drive, had a look at possible causes and suggested the most likely nature of the problem – and roughly how much it would be to resolve it. They were able to source and fit the necessary part within just a day or two, but quickly recognised and advised that it hadn’t solved the problem. Rather than immediately looking for an alternative solution, Auditechnik had the confidence to stick with their initial assessment and assume the part was faulty (something I thought unlikely at the time). A replacement part was obtained and this did indeed fix the fault – when I then realised just how poor the Rover’s performance had become. 
 
Throughout this episode, Auditechnik’s technicians, and Ian personally, encountered a number of mechanical problems in removing/replacing the faulty part, due to the car’s age/mileage. This resulted in the total time taken for the repair being far, far more than the expected 20 minutes (overall I estimate around 1.5 to 2 hours). I was therefore expecting an increased cost and was absolutely delighted to receive a bill that was still as estimated. 
 
Overall, I have been so delighted at the quality of the service, helpfulness and price at Auditechnik that I am just about to book in for an MOT and a recently developed steering problem (on our other car). 
 
In summary, I think Ian Sutton runs a tremendous business that does not support many of the negative stereotypes associated with independent garages. I have no hesitation therefore in fully recommending Auditechnik and suspect they could be looking after my cars (and hopefully those of some of my local friends) for some years to come.

However my most recent experience has been my most positive yet, in a situation that most other garages would have tried to wash their hands of. 
 
In short, as preparation for selling my vehicle for several thousand pounds (I had a buyer lined-up) there was one engine fault that I needed to clear. In the process of doing this, a major engine failing developed, effectively making the vehicle worthless. Most garages would have passed this situation back to me in these circumstances. 
 
However, at a time that could have been a very significant worry, Ian assured me that he would find a way to resolve the situation. In the meantime he left a courtesy car with me for more than three weeks. 
 
Sure enough this was long enough for Ian to make arrangements to allow me to take the full value out of the car at no loss to myself. 
 
I summarised previously that Ian Sutton runs a tremendous business that does not support many of the negative stereotypes associated with independent garages. I can now add to that, that his personal and professional integrity has ensured that I have not lost a significant amount of cash. 
 
I will take my cars nowhere else and will wholeheartedly recommend Ian Sutton and Auditechnik to my local contacts/friends at all times. 
 
 

First class services 

I have used Auditechnik to service my car since earlier this year, and was very glad that I switched to them as they diagnosed faults which would have made my car dangerous to drive and which had not been picked up by a previous local garage. Servicing is carried out efficiently and thoroughly with a great concern for quality and good advice. 
 
I urgently needed to source a car to use for my business and Ian Sutton, the proprietor, was very helpful in understanding my requirements. I am now the proud owner of an Audi A3 which Ian and his team took great care to prepare to an exceptionally high standard and which comes with a full year’s warranty. It is reassuring to buy a vehicle from such a trustworthy, genuine and quality source, who are also known for their outstanding service. 
 
I can highly recommend Auditechnik for both your personal and business motoring needs. It is a pleasure to give them business.

Very affordable 

Also my mum has a MOT and Service at Auditechnik and she was pleasantly surprised when she received the bill, she was expecting a large invoice but it turned out to be very affordable. 
 
I find it a great benefit to have Auditechnik as they are the only Garage in Gloucester that are AA Approved which to me is a great achievement. 
 
I will continue to use Auditechnik in the future and will recommend them to friends & family. 

A clear and detailed bill 

My car is 3 years old and has never seen a mechanic before, so as I am about to sell it, I thought it was finally time to get it some TLC. Took it to Ian at Audi Technic who gave it the full service plus a brake service it ws due. I was given a loan car for the day and got my car back in the afternoon with a clear and detailed bill... and no painfull surprises! A very good price too. 
 
I was even given a summary sheet detailing everything that was done in the service and also advice that one of the tyres was soon for replacing. I’m sure the work done will have increased the sale value of the car by much more than the cost of the service, plus I now have the peace of mind that the car is safe and reliable. 
 
I have no reservations in recommending Audi Technic to my family and friends. 
 
 

Went the extra mile 

From the initial reception and advice offered to us was first class, including the effort in obtaining spares etc. 
 
It was a pleasure to deal with all the staff concerned who resolved the matter. 
 
A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL, and we really appreciated your efforts to put us back on the road, It's a shame other garages did not operate the way yours does and I would not hesitate in using your services again.
