As everyone knows, you are required by law to keep your car in a roadworthy condition if you use the car on the public roads.
An MOT test checks that the vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards. If your car is more than 3 years old, you are required to do an MOT each year.
Without a valid MOT certificate, your car insurance and road tax are invalid.
MOT tests can be carried out on your car up to one month prior to the expiry date of an existing MOT certificate. In this case, the start date for your new MOT will be from expiry date of the current MOT, rather than the date which the test has been carried out.
Warranty for parts and labour is 12,000 miles or 12 months (whichever comes first). Terms may vary on second hand parts.
